Please dont blame your spouse Ashe was learning. Hard to accept blame for not double checking things ourselves though we are responsible. Now, odds are your shafts bent and bolts are probably ok. Contact John at Johns TM Service in Texarkana and let him Know what your looking for. Gary Hubble is also a nice source for TM parts. The shaft wont easily straighten and while we have seen it done yourin for several tweaks and bend, try, bend, try, bend, try… if you take that route.

I did the same thing on my last boat and yes, the shaft was bent. If it makes you feel any better, last weekend my wife was helping me load up the boat. She jackknifed the trailer so bad that she busted up the winch with the tailgate that was down. The tailgate also got dented…did I mention that we were using my dads truck??!! All I could do was laugh which Im sure never made her feel any better. I said dont worry about it, they make em everyday!!!Good luck!!!

I can sure attest to the bend try bend thing. Ive found it almost impossible to get it right. The slightest bend makes a big difference. Im not saying it cant be done but its a trying experience. Zolft helps…………..
