I wanted to share with the group the amazing job that the Cole Harbour PeeWee Wings are doing for a local Emergency Shelter, Out of the Cold Halifax. Some of the kids are avid fisherman so hopefully the mods will allow this.
The Cole Harbour (Home of Sidney Crosby) Peewee B hockey team from Nova Scotia, Canada, has made the top ten teams across Canada for the Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup out of hundreds of entries! By making the top ten we have already won $2,000.00 for our local charity, Out of the Cold Emergency Shelter. We are now battling to make the top three which is determined by views of our submission video. We are currently in second place, if we make the top three we will get $5,000 for Out of the Cold. If we are selected as the winner, Out of The Cold will receive $100,000. To do this we need your help!

Our Good Deeds
Just before Christmas, we collected and delivered food, clothing, household items and gifts for The Salvation Army, Community and Family Services Unit in Dartmouth, Soul's Harbour in Halifax, and Halifax’s Out of the Cold Emergency Shelter. Our players also mentored younger Novice hockey players during some of their practices and did a community cleanup.
