Simon, we don’t know what propeller you will end up with, though we wouldn’t run a Stiletto. There are actually two different brands that made a prop named Stiletto, and neither is in production today. We believe yours is the four blade version with thru hub, the other is an over the hub.
On that Four stroke we would first try and stay to Yamaha propellers if you can. You can somewhat of an odd combination, first a new and old boat to engine, and now a 175 on a 200 rated boat with that age variation.
After trying Yamaha props, try a Mercury Trophy in the 23-22 range. They will require a hub assembly which fits your engine. You need to work with a propeller rebuilder or reconditioning shop, in order to find someone with a variation of components, and someone who will work with you based on exchanging and swapping.
If you can find the components from a friend or in someone’s garage, just give them a spin and see. Try to assemble this all on one day to test run them at a secluded ramp so you have time and it’s no inconvenient to you and other boaters. In and out changing propellers takes time and it can frustrate all parties when you’re setting up a rig.
