Help on MK trolling motor plug

Would appreciate any assistance on a question that is probably quite dumb. I included two pictures of my MK plug. How do I unplug it from the boat? Im able to turn the plug clockwise for a very small amount but when I gently pull on it, the plug does not come out of the outlet. I have not had this kind of a MK plug setup before, so I appreciate any feedback

On my trolling motor the top picture my plug will pull out. And is locked on the second picture. I hope that helps.

Thats what i was thinking too. Think you turn counter clockwise and then pull it out. Its usually a fairly snug fit.

It should remove.

You are correct. Counter clockwise is the position to pull out the plug. Thanks for the help
