Assistance needed!!
I have a 2012 Basscat Cougar.
I tried to switch the location of the water pressure and gas gauge. Because of the fiberglass underneath I wasn’t able to so I just moved them back to the original location.
I felt afterwards that I may have crossed the left and right wires because it didn’t seem backwards.
I took the gauge out to mess with the wires to try and correct it. After some time of messing around we realized nothing was working. I would note that the touch panel and all the accessories that power on from it work. However, the motor doesn’t beep when you turn the key and the trim does not work at the bow, console, or on the motor. Also the graphs do work. All of the accessories and graphs are connected to the cranking battery.
The cables are tightly secured to the post, there is power coming out of the battery and to a switch, there is power on the other side of the switch which runs to a terminal block, and there is power on both sides of the terminal block. We took off the cowling and there is power to the starter.
Is there some type of breaker or fuse I am missing somewhere that has killed power to the console ignition switch and all of the trim??
Thanks for reading and offering an opinion!
