Help with switch for gunwale flip lights

Does anyone know if the console flip light is the first light in the chain? Do I just tie it to the touchpad?

There is a white wire on the light and thats the power supply. Most have a colored stripe in red. We are not sure why your power the light with a second switch when it has a power source and an output post that will power another light from the pivot switch. I put rigid srm lights in the same place,so I need to either wire in a switch-or tie them in to my accessory switch on my touch pad.

We believe the Accessory switch is the Orange wire.

The only problem with using the accessory switch is the fact of having to go to the console everytime to turn the light or lights on. I was a little curious because even with the one in the console unhooked,the other two still had power? I thought the console light was the first in the chain?

With the flip light you have to remember . It has its own built in switch. Therfore power can come from anywhere. Power from one wire to all light is slim to none.
