How did you mount your bow unit?

We like a RAM on the bow as you can fold the unit flat to the deck in rough water, and under power.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the feedback. Pretty much confirms what I was thinking with regards to the RAM mount but I had been hearing a lot about other mounts and wanted to see what others had experienced.

Nothing handles rough water better than the factory gimbal mount alone, imo. I also like the sleek look it gives the unit down in the well, just set the tilt angle and done.

the 12″ unit will not fit in the well, otherwise I agree.

The 2.25″ Ram mount can handle that unit easily!
