how to access under trolling motor recess?

Sorry for the strange title, but not sure how to word it. I am trying to install a new garmin(no nothing fancy) up on the trolling motor. Power has already been run from a previous installation which I managed to pull up a drain hole. So far easy stuff…

Question is how do I run the transducer cord down one drain hole and up the hole where the power is coming up to the unit?

The boat is a ’99 Pantera Classic.

Is there an access panel? I tried pulling the panel where the trolling motor plugs in but there is no way I can reach the holes. Do I need some kind of coat hanger or snake to try and snag the wire and pull up through the hole?

Tried calling, but probably too busy and there are no dealers around here for me to consult with so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Todd, You will need to add a 6″ access panel below the trolling motor pedal. This is what we do on newer boats, though in 1999 there was not much thought of that need. People did not do the amount of upgrading and multiple graphs then, so it was not as necessary it to be handy. The only access you have presently is through the plug in panel at the bow.
