That is not an easy question as they have not all converted. Realize when Humminbird starts shipping G3 units or G2 for the new Solix, we may have stock in hand, boats we produced before the units are available and more complications.
We cant just start shipping G2 or G3 units when HumminBird does. Plus there are often cabling and transducer challenges on top of that we have no access to yet.
Add to this those things we have happen like last years Down Imaging transducers that were packaged by HumminBird with the unit’s, when the new Wide DI became available.
The bench technicians at HumminBird would tell consumers we installed the wrong Transducer when they packaged the Transducer we used with the actual Helix head units. Let alone those shipped and sold before the Wide DI Transducer was ever manufactured and consumers calling us with “you put the wrong trasnsducer on my boat”.
As you can tell electronics are a major challenge and can be a major frustration for us. Companies like HumminBird, Lowrance, Garmin and more promote a new ‘Super Mega Wide Bite Viseo Widget Sonar’ and we don’t have access to it yet. Then companies in big box stores may get the product shipped to them before the OEM schedule as they are shelf selling those direct to consumers. We often lag some vendors retail distribution by up to 90 days.
When they announce it sometimes we are shipping that model, and sometimes we are not.
That being said our HumminBird representative was in this week and made every effort he could to assure we were as up the minute as possible on product.
