Humminmbird Ethernet update and Interlink updates

These are the updates as of Monday from Humminbird on their web site for units that are Interlink and/or Ethernet capable. Update 5.32 is the most recent for Interlink. Update 5.41 is the new Ethernet system software.

just what EXACTLY is the difference?i think this may be the issue here.older models/newer models? computers upgrade all the time as well as terminology

You need to ID your units and verify that they will accept the up dares (dates) before you update. Also inquire at Humminbird that the Interlink software on your older units will sync with the 5.32 software.

Only units in the most recent production will Ethernet.

Per Humminbird, as long as each unit has at least a 5.100 , then they will interlink. The older units 997,etc. will not eternet.
