My 20001 Pantera III w/ Merc 200 EFI , 25P trophy comes off plane when I drop below approx 3K at about 22-25 mph gps. Top speed is 68-70 gps. This is not a problem for myself but my wife is a different story. She would rather go slower than I normally run and I tell her I have to run at least 34-3600 to get past the harmonic vibration range on the engine and stay on plane for the best ride and fuel efficiency. I know BCB does not recommend the use of hydrofoils but do you think it would help me stay on plane for lower wife speeds. Im wanting to coast on the river looking at scenery this fall but 25 mph is too fast. LOL Hope some of you understand the dilemma.
