You dont need a diesel for an 20 foot boat. Your question to ask yourself is how big a tractor and how often do I need to move it? If youre unsure, always buy bigger

I have an Ecoboost and pull a Puma FTD with it. Pulls and handles very good. You will be surprised at how strong the Ecoboost is. Mine is a 13 model 3.5 L. They also make a 2.7L Ecoboost now but havent been in oneLast edited by Mainliner61 on December 31st, 2014, 7:27 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Dont really need a diesel but I am sure they are nice. I am happy with my V8 Silverado Z71 4×4 and I average over 17 miles a gallon with over 90% of my trips less then 10 miles.Dan

I run a 250 with the 6.4 and I love it but I also pull a 36 camper trailer with it but with the gas mileage I get with it compared to the gas burners it plays out the same for what I pay for the deisel fuel but the cost of the maintenance will kill your wallet when the oil changes are costing you around 100 plus the fuel filters and so. If I had the money I plan to buy me a gas burner for pulling me boat and just riding around town
