I sometimes wish mine didnt have one…. my ankle gets pretty stiff after about 20mins of driving. That said, Im sure it is a little safer to use the HF.

No Mike does not use a hot foot and keeps that simple. All of those at the factory do not run a hot foot either. No one at BCB direct has a hot foot on their boats. We actually feel not having a hot foot is safer for most users. BCB

Curious as to why its safer without a hotfoot? I have one and I really dont like it. I have a weak leg since my back surgery and it wears my leg out on a long run.

My last boat had one and i thought i loved it. This year with my newer boat, I do not have one, thank God. I made a point to learn certain river systems and that meant really long runs. I will probably never have another hot foot.
