arnoldjj, we hope you have been in touch with your dealer by now and received a new decal for your valve that applies to the valve you have. We feel you may have one of those valves. Also the cleat issue, we don’t know what gives, though we do suspect that it was lifted for some reason after assembly and not retightened in error. This happens when parts are not received and have to be installed later, or orders are changed after mid production and we have to go back and install something.
Apologize for any error on the cleat, and we hope that you have your valve understood. We would never have figured this one out ourselves! Once a complaint was made we dug in and found the issue. Derned shipping folks grabbed the wrong part number.
On another note, it is amazing the number of individuals we have had who dislike this error valve. They like a simple throw valve. On the good side for that, the company has long been trying to get us to switch to the multi position valve, and now we know we are right is remaining with the original BCB valve. It seems people like the single throw valve much better. Not that it works different, it is just simpler to understand and not make an error.
