If its spring, go tell our thermometer. When the ice started melting off of our roof early this morning, it dripped off and fell on the thermometer, where it refroze and made icicles there. The plants below the frozen thermometer caught hell cuz all the icewater that melted off the roof and missed the thermometer fell on them and refroze in a solid mess. I didnt even bother covering up the plants. What could be moved to the garage was, what couldnt will just have to tough it out or regrow. With temps at or below freezing the last three days, I dont think a sheet would have done much good. On the bright side, mosquitoes should be a little better this spring, since the freeze went all the way down to the coast this time around.Are we about to have another mini-Ice Age like the country did in the middle part of the 1800s after Krakatoa blew up?Your Signature …
