That would be hard to say? It is possible he labeled the parts as sometimes when things are altered there are initials or directions added. Though the serial number and more would be needed to determine if he built that boat, or had a major hand in it for someone else. Once a new product is into a steady production flow, he generally would not be involved other than management. If there were a part change or special part, he could have been? BCB

Too many questions, no we got it. The TM cases were silver then black and in 13 returned to silver. Production after January 1, 2013 is Generation II (Gen 2) and all are the same shaft as well as gear ratio (1.75). The new Gen 2 case has pronounced detail lines webbing in the rear to the hub and short fins above the prop shaft aligned with the cavitation plate. They tend to effect hole shot differently. All pre 13 cases are identical other than color and both versions retain cambered skegs. Not all Pro XS engines are TM cases as some have Verado style cases and those have no cambered skeg or fat shaft. The Verado cases are all black.

There is only a legitimate 25 HP increase, and thus not much gain in performance.

Id have to search for it but within the last month or so I saw BCB explain the reason for the console being 2 pieces and so large. They basically said that a normal console just did not look right at all due to the size of the Jaguar.
