I ran a 97 Pantera II/ 200 Merc EFI for years. On the Manual CMC jackplate. I preferred the 25 Trophy, and also had a 25 Tempest as backup. I have a manual jackplate too ive gotten 68 exact. The guy i bought it from said he put the jackplate higher then most people like it

Goodboat, mine was untouched from the dealer and running 72-73 gps. You will find some people raised jackplates higher, thinking it would improve speed/performance. The Classic/PII setup usually does not need a high jackplate setting, unless fishing extremely shallow, etc.If I remember correctly, my plate was about 1-1 1/2 inches above “flush”- where the inside/outside plates would be equally level.How is your torque, or do you have hydraulic steering?Taking your time, you should be able to get a solid 70 out of your rig…96 Eyra/12 Mercury 175 Pro XS with 2015 single axle trailer2017 Victory Gunner

I dont have hydrollic but i have anti feed back. Oh and would a 24in do bad on the classic i was going to try it out?

The only reason i wanna try the 24 is so my uncle can use the 25 the guy he bought the boat from has a 27in 3 bld tempest and he wants to try the 25

With the 25 trophy I get 68mph gps it says 72 on the boats speedometer, turning 6000 rpms and the water pressure reads 20 psi.

I have back up lights on my trailer that are submersible. They are set up under the back axle of the trailer. At night we have NO PROBLEMS seeing the trailer in the water. They light up everything. even about twenty feet out in the water. You might want to try them.

That does work fine. I just thought maybe it was a different idea and might be something functional for some folks and something that would look pretty cool in the dark. Its probably something someone has already thought of and maybe even tried to create. I just had this idea that if the bunks and fenders lit up with some type of rope lighting around their edges it would be functional for night fishermen and women. It would kinda resemble an airports landing strip.

Depends but this years pictures were taken at Lake Norfork and last years were at Bull Shoals. Then periodically throughout the year they might have an opportunity to take shots elsewhere. Those running shots this year were taken by Chris Brown and after talking to him about them it sounds like a pretty big rush to put 2 boats that close together at the speeds those guys are running. As do I Dennis. I have it on both of my screens at my work station. The folks at work think it is me driving the boat but I have to tell them that I am not man enough to were pink. I thing Kevin is the only man that can pull that one off with confidence.
