Lighted Handrails

Man Id email parts at Basscat and ask. gotta believe you can take it apart at the center abutment and pull plastic out- I know they do for wraps. Only question is can you get to source color led.C.O.D. Jr. III

Sounds like its a big deal just to change the color. Looks like white will have to stay for a while….

BCB, is it possible for an owner to change the metal hand rails located on each boat side over to the illuminated handrails? My apologies if this question has been asked/answered elsewhere in the forum. I did take the time to do a search and read, but so far i did not come across this specific question. Kind Regards.

Dionne – Ill be sure to order red on my next one so you wont have to worry about changing it out That said, while I agree the red looks better at night and doesnt give as much glare, the white is much better for eating breakfast and arranging gear on tournament morning.

On the center stanchion there will be two set screws, on for the forward and on for the aft. Loosen those. Mix a little dawn and water and spray the rubber grommet at both end where the rails enter the top cap. Gently twist back an forth while pushing into the grommet. Once clear of the stanchion lift up and work it back out of the grommet. The light is attached to the end.
