I havent seen a lathe since high school, and Im positive I know no one with access to one. Then come dimensions, and hole circumferences/radius of material. Thats when I figured, one day Id just sale my PIV and buy a Puma!JP, I like your style with Puma endeavors and can appreciate your thinking who needs hand rails on a PIV and why bother. The new Puma that Rick and team has just released with the top cap refresh plus the wider front dek has the wow factor to illuminate the hand rails without a battery. I havent seen it yet but my bro has and he says the new wider front deck is noticeable and will get your attention. For me when I did the upgrade I was centric to my PIV as THE boat for me with no thoughts going Puma bound till a certain new Eyra opportunity came my way after I had completed the project. Doing my PIV hand rail project was more getting my ducks in a row gathering the materials then handing it all over to my dealer. So maybe our perspectives are different because I did not pain myself with the thought of doing it myself. So I can appreciate your comments. However when all was finished those handrails were way cool. Heck I even added a retractable stern light too. Maybe not the smartest thing to do but it was crazy seeing that stern light popping up and down. Now that was not an easy job per my dealer. I think he surprised a few folks with that one. Yep, I have a dealer that sees me coming, rolls his eyes and rolls up his sleeves to geter done. Bama96, Myself and others are lucky to have him in our area.Last edited by Flyswatter on August 15th, 2012, 4:04 am, edited 1 time in total.
