Limking yamaha 200hpdi to humminbird 11982

I am having a problem finding information about connecting my 1198 to the command link on a Yamaha 200 HPDI (2008). Yamaha says I need to purchase the command links and Humminbird says I need a Ethernet link(which they sale for $199.00) to make this connection. I am wanting to utilize the gauge set up on my new 1198 system. I have found one company (BOE marine) that indicates one of two cables. A mare -3 or mare-2 depending on how many other devices I want to attach.
