08 Sabre, I have “been there, done that”. You will have to remove the valve from it’s base, and lift it up to get the cable off. Same for putting the new cable on. There is a large pvc nut located on the shaft of the valve that you have to loosen to release the valve. Unfortunately you might have to remove some tubing from the valve to move it into a position where you can easily remove and install the cable. Hope this helps.
