Livewell Problem

My 2022 Puma STS has a livewell issue. I have the overflow plugged but after I make a run my livewells are about 50% empty. I do not have any water in the bilge and the it doesn't leak on the trailer at weigh-in. All I can figure is that the boat is sucking the water out past the ball valve when I run on plane, does that make sense? This problem showed up early so I don't think it is debris in the valve. I know I could replace the ball valve but that looks to be a pain to get to so I want to make sure that is the problem. Do I just need to make an adjustment to the toggle switch? Thanks for the help.

Dennis, our 2022 Caracal SP came with the livewell valve (in the bottom of the bilge) which is actuated by the lever (below the hand throttle) that leaked from day one. Turns out the rubber flapper in the valve was toast (from the factory!). It is a pain to get to so we let our local shop fix it and billed the dealer. Might be what’s happening with yours.
