livewell pump quit

12 eyra. Pump was working at the ramp. Then later would not. I hear a click under the dash but no pump.The aerator is separate pump but will also fill the wells, correct?

Try exchanging a cartridge for another and see if thats the issue. It usually is though folks dont have a fuse so they wonder because the thermal breaker inside the dash shuts it down.

Just remove the cartridge out of the housing and hold it in your hand and turn it on. If it doesnt spin like that. Make sure you have 12 volts to it. If you have voltage then it is bad. If it does work make sure there isnt something? in the housing preventing it from turning.

I had one that wouldnt work and it had a tiny stone caught in it. Put it back in and never had another issue.

Mine did the same thing last week, pull it and check for debris, turn the spinner by hand, mine worked after that.

The aerator is on a separate pump and will fill the livewells. If I leave mine on manual it will overfill the wells, the overfill drains cant keep up with the pump. The recirc pump is the easiest to change in my FTD.
