Livewell timer HELP!

1996 Sabre, original dash parts.....my livewell timer pod quit working. I ordered a new one from BCB. Also ordered a new rocker switch. There is virtually no way to disassemble the dash with pulling the wires off the switch. I've tried every which way of reconnecting the wires with zero luck. Got a big tourney coming up.....any help would be appreciated.

There are two timer pods, one just plugs in direct to a wiring plug, the other is potted and must have wires cut and spliced.
