We are unaware of the nonpermeable liners coming loose from inside the tanks.

I would bet that when the tank is reading “empty” it is not. Theres still fuel left. Those wiper sending units also change over time, and a boat is a particularly harsh environment for em, constantly moving causing the fuel to continually slosh around.

I had a boat built by another company that would run out of gas and the tank would only take about 3/4 capacity when filled at the station. Discovered that the pick-up tube was the wrong size– too short.

Now I a doubting myself on whether the tanks was completely empty. One thing or sure the most I have ever been able to get in is 30.5 gallons on a 33 gallon tank. I will have to fill up immediately next time I empty it to be sure. Thanks for the responses.

You could siphon it totally dry and then check it for capacity if your concerned.
