Don’t think you have a battery problem. Mercury motor? Check the oil level in the engine mounted oil tank. If it’s full, unplug the wires from the level sensor on the tank and jumper the two wires together on the harness (motor side) of the wiring. If the alarm goes away you have a sensor / oil tank problem. The sensor can be checked with multimeter.
