I went from a Cougar FTD to a Lynx last fall. I’ve been through a few shallow pockets with the Lynx over the winter and the only difference is accounting for the added width as you maneuver around stuff. If the Lynx drafts more it isn’t much more.
The Lynx also doesn’t get blown around as much in the wind. I’m extremely pleased with the way it fishes. You do have to pay attention getting down in the cockpit, it’s deep and short front to back.
