Lynx with “Trick Step” on trailer

I had major surgery over the off season and I am currently having a great deal of difficulty while trying to board the boat when loading or unloading when alone. Has anyone mounted a “Trick Step” on their Lynx’s trailer to facilitate safer boarding. I currently have dual Garmin graphs mounted to the starboard side of center as well as a Garmin force trolling motor on the bow. When boarding with the Bass Cat trailer steps, my back will not permit me to safely step over the two graphs. I thought with the “Trick Step” I could board from the starboard side allowing me clean deck space opposed to stepping over the front. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to your cooperation with this matter!

I put one on my Eyra two weeks ago. Money well spent. The Trick step will allow you to easily enter the boat behind the graphs. No gymnastics involved! If you have the factory step, they will use the BC step as the first step.

Don’t wait!

As a side note, I tried the BoatEFX step first. It does not work well with the BC factory step.

I put one on my 2020 Caracal and love it. Use at and away from launch. Way easier for this 65 year old to go up the steps then climb over the fenders.

Did you take the factory grab pole off ?

No, it didn’t come with one, just the tongue level step. I bought boat used last year. I looked into BCB pole and step add on system and it didn’t have step above winch. While it looks nicer it was wasn’t as practical for me. I’m 65 anyway and climbing up the pole was getting tougher ( I had a 07 Classic with factory pole/steps on trailer before Caracal).

I have similar issues due age and surgery. I put a Trick Step on my Cougar FTD and it works very well. ####

Does the TrickStep get in the way of folding the swing tongue at all?
