marinco help

I have a new Puma FTD and trying to unplug the marinco plug by pulling and twisting. I think Im going to pull the five screws holding the plate down out. Any suggestions? Thanks

The plug doesnt twist. Just pull it straight out. Even on my 2009, it is pretty hard to unplug.

Twist counterclockwise. Pull straight out. Wiggle up down and left right as your pulling

I was making sure nothing has changed. I pulled straight out at first. Then read the back where it says twist and pull. I now have unscrewed the side plate and still cant budge it. Thinking about trying to pry the male end from female end with a screw driver? Just hate to marr something. Any other suggestions?Thanks

You shouldnt need to pry on it and I would not suggest that.Try pushing in and twist then work it wiggle it some. It should come out when twisted counterclockwise all the way.

I tried rocking by hand, then rocking with a screw driver on each end, then was able to get it by prying with a screw driver. Reinserted to see if it was any easier. Had to get the screw drivers out again. LOL
