For myself and my family, Memorial Weekend (Sunday) is about sharing time with 300,000 people. Its Indy…. Pre-race ceremonies of the parade of active military personnel where we as a crowd can give thanks, the playing of taps where you can hear a pin drop, God Bless America, Back Home Again in Indiana, the National Anthem, the military fly over, and Gentlemen Start Your Engines brings tons of emotions to our attending family. We remember those who have fallen protecting us and give thanks and prayers to those in harms way. And yes, we enjoy the greatest spectacle in racing. Ill be attending until I can no longer attend.
