MLF had two (2) Margays and both were in a drawing for use. We were unlucky and have been more fortunate in the recent events. Whatever they draw is theirs to use that event. Basically the rotation is not set to change and of course Iaconelli and any other BCB angler will always have a BCB. Takahiro drew one out in the last series. We are also committed to continuing with MLF into the next season and have no thoughts of changing our course there. It was not a great promotion for BCB, though it was a great fishing event for television. BCB was the first to sponsor MLF and it was a commitment to the sport and tournament anglers we wanted to show. The sport needed some new blood and now several show later the new face of fishing is MLF and Balog, Siementel and others have now stated there position on the program. Its winning viewership and a following every week it runs. BCB
Its my favorite fishing entertainment to watch. Gotta chuckle watching Bobby Lane get so keyed in he actually tossed his rod/reel in the water when he realized he didnt make the cut. It shows how bad these guys want to move on. Very impressed how cool externally KVD appears to be. Recent episode he zeroed I think in the first period. Maybe one fish. He was in last place. He kept at it and figured the pattern and ended up int he top three to move on. The guy flat out competes.
Absolutely the best show on t.v., and I was/am excited for BCB to be involved in its success ! I love the format, and think the future is bright. I would love to see a “weekend warrior” like some of us thrown in the mix to spice it up ! Yes,,,, I would volunteer ! Id get my butt handed to me but it would be a blast ! Lol
Actually, I dont have any interest in seeing weekend warriors since part of the draw is seeing the pros in action. But I wouldnt mind seeing a couple of other FLW personalities in the mix though (ie, Yelas, Nixon, Martin (scott, not Roland), & Wendlendt). I am intrigued by the head to head competition of the two major tours and there is definitely growth potential there.
I think that this MLF show is the best fishing show I have ever seen. Others that I have talked to feel the same. It is a great concept and everyone seems to like it. It has a lot of potential to be around for a long time to come. I wouldnt like to see weekend warriors in it either. Including others from the FLW circuit would not hurt the show at all. Everyone should believe in something. I believe Ill just go fishing!

Dudley? Mr banned from BASS? Me no think so. He would far more minor league than dbasketman. Bush league would be more accurate. The Saturday afternoon series is a new segment called the General Tire World Championship and we are not a part of that segment. That is the only show we do not sponsor due to the nationally televised affiliation and those are different boats than the other shows use.We do support All Angles, Inside MLF, the original MLF Cup and the starter qualifying series MLF Selects.
