I always push down lightly on the head unit with my foot while pulling on cord to help release pressure on locking pin. If you dont eventually you will break the pull cord. Thats how I do it.

Same here, I step lightly on the shaft near the head.

The frames take a twist on some after theyve been mounted. The corners will have one corner tighter than it needs to be and a bind on the bracket. Loosen and tighten the corners till you find the one that needs tweaked.

Adjust the mount as BCB suggested. And then install The Equalizer shocks. Best upgrade Ive ever done. I still have to push down on the head lightly to deploy, but they reduce the effort needed to deploy/stow by 2/3rds. Great product.

I have the locking pin add on. Love it. No stepping on troller at all. Release pin and deploy.C.O.D. Jr. III

When I bought my p2 its got the fortrex. I was nervous about the change. But I have to say I really l8ke it. Matched with the eliminator nut it is super quite.
