The bullet feels way too heavy for me to hang out over the water. I keep my blades out.

Too much torque on shaft with bullet out. MG should have designed bracket differently but they did not. Do not run rough water with blade in.

Prop out. Fits better that way. I usually pull the prop off before I put my Aurora cover on, clean the shaft off, and put the prop, nut, and pin in my prop bag. I put a piece of foam pipe insulation over the shaft to keep from puncturing the cover. Overkill, I know.

It would depend on the mount.
