I used it to clean off marker spots on my table at home from the kids. It took off the clear coat from the table surface??? I personally would not use it on the boat, just my opinion!

ive used it to clean my dads boat and it does a very very good job in my opinion it didnt harm the gel coat or enthing and actualy shined up some areas that had oxidized ovr a period of time

Just to update anyone interested, this product works miracles, especially on my white top cap. It has removed black marks that I could not get off with wax and it does not scratch or dull the gel coat. It is very easy to use with less elbow grease needed to remove those marks. I would highly suggest giving this a try you will be amazed at how easy and well it works. Just my 2 cents worth. Jack

Agree with JF, I used the Mr clean eraser to take off the black marks that the black bow rollers leave on my cougar. Works great. Ron
