My Caracal

Went fishing yesterday afternoon. It seems like every fishing trip I take in it the more I like it. On top of that, the trip involved catching!

Sweet. I am seriously considering the Caracal for my next/retirement boat if/when I let my Puma go.

RLB, I really like the room on the front and the stability of the boat while fishing. Plus the performance is good. Of course you want get the speed with the 225 that you get out of a Puma 250 rig.

I love the rough water ride and layout of my Caracal. Now if I could just get the 225 SHO to rev over 5000 rpm and go faster than 54 mph.

What prop are you running? And do you have a hydraulic jack plate? That boat with the right trim and a tempest runs 76 mph. I know a few guys with one.
