MY FRIENDS BROTHER

I was sitting here tonight watching TV and thinking about tomorrows fishing day when the phone rings. Its my Team fishing partner Kennys wife. She said, Glynn, Kennys Brother has just been killed !!! I said, when!! She said, a few minutes ago!!! I said, what happened? I wont go into details but She said, It was an on the job accident. The worst of all was getting the call from Kenny himself. I truly didnt know what to say. He had just lost his Brother. I said, if theres any thing I can do , let me know!!! He said, He was headed to his mothers immediately. After getting those two calls, I couldnt sleep from thinking about what Kenny must be feeling. Weve been Team partners for eight seasons. It wouldnt seem this could have an emotional effect but it has. Kenny and I have a strong relationship other than fishing. Were always communicating life as challenges. This will definitely be one of our biggest so for. Theres one thing He can count on and thats me. A friend for life that will never get tired of listening. Kenny, Buddy Ill be there!!!!!!!! Glynn

You can try to console him as can his spouse and his Mother will be devastated. We will keep them in our prayers as the good byes begin and the healng takes over. It will be a long process. We dont know how fortunate we are until our lives face a tragedy. God Bless you all! BCB

Glynn, My prayers go out to you and his family. The Lord says a “true friend sticks closer than a brother.” He also never promises us tomorrow so we need to grasp everyday and the Word also says” Do not worry about tomorrow because today is sufficient for its on trouble.” Take each day as it comes and allow the healing process to run its course. To have aquantences is good but to have two, or even one, true friend in life is considered a blessing . True friends are rare and it sounds like both you are blessed to have each other!
