Need Advice

Bought the boat couple month ago but the motor did not look crooked until yesterday. I have an 09 EFI. Shes loud and not the best on gas but I sure do love to hear it run. Ive had HPDI.s and Yami four strokes, Tohatsus, but like the Merc 2 stroke sound. Thanks for advice, I will call Andy at Greens tomorrow and see what he says thank all for advice so far. I sure do like my Sabre. One fun boat.golfen

Best thing to try is first mark the location with a pencil of where the jack plate is set. Then loosen both sides of the plate and lower the plate about 1/2 inch. From there, begin to raise back to the level mark with the pencil. The threads when loaded sometimes cannot get enough slack to even on both sides when lowered, but they can re allign themselves when raising. Good Luck

BCB is correct. I doubt Sherm would do that now, but I guess it wouldnt hurt to ask. He has Harleys of his own and rides whenever he gets time.
