I haven’t fished it in years, so not much help there. I will tell you to be careful though. This lake can get extremely rough in a short period of time. There are many many accidents on this lake every year. It has some narrow canyons that produce huge rollers so be prepared. Good thing is by the end of September it won’t be 120 degrees. Only around 100 or so. It’s about a 2 hour drive from Phoenix and so hot during the summer we don’t make the trip to fish it.
