Need to upgrade graphs/gps

It looks like the LCX-27 in the console of my 2007 PIV has decided to take the proverbial dirt nap. I was planning to up grade my electronics this fall but it looks like it is going to be sooner then later. I am looking at installing a Lowrance Touch 9 on the console as well as in the foot pedal trough. I am sure the unit on the front will need some type of ram mount to allow for more room as well as the unit on the console. Does anyone have any pictures of similar units they have replaced on a 2007 model console and pedal trough area?

I would contact Sherms Marine. He has a great mount for the console that places the unit above the steering wheel but not in your line of sight. I am not sure about the bouw mount but I am sure that he can hook you up there also.You can probably search for Sherms mount and find posts with pictures.

Cape Fear. Better Think hard on bow mount unit. If it wont fit mounted in the front well, not in my rig. Most boat boat covers will not accept ram mounted- units after they are stitched. If away for the night, I cover my rig. Dont like to have to remove bow locator to cover rig. Lowrance units are not friendly to remove compared to Birds cuz of all the “mickey mouse” individual connections power, sonar,E net, N2k. Ram mounted unit on front is trip hazard. Ram mounted unit on front is always tangled in troller contol cables. Ram Mounted Lowrance on front of Cat is PITA. Been there, done that!!!!!!!!!!!

The founder of Kentucky Pro Bass Warrior has a ram mount on his bow and he just loosens it, moves it down towards the carpet, then tightens it up. This way his cover fits and it also rides better to and from the lake according to him. He does the same thing with the ram mount he has on the side of his console. Hope that helps some

The mount is great.
