For Bass Cat : As a 30 yr plus boat operator Ive got a couple of suggestion 1. I like the recessed foot control its great when standing but is nearly impossible to use sitting using a straight pedastal pole. Recommend issuing an offset pedastal as standard equiment.2.Battery Trays-The trolling motor tray was on the starboard side, trolling motor cables are on the port side-same scenario exists for main motor and accessory cables. I spent about 2 hours swapping them out. 3. Boat came with manual jack plate/XR6.No water pressure guage. It would have been a nice touch to have added as std equip. 4.I got to test my bilge pump once the boat was in the water. Both bolts for the jack plate below the waterline leaked and the thru the hull fitting for the livewell at rate of about 4 gal. an hour. All the bolts for the jack plate were not much more than hand tight. The bottom right bolt had been cross threaded and I had to cut the nut off and replace the bolt and the nut.The hole for the thru the hull fitting for the livewell is cut about a half an inch to far aft and as a result the flat part of the fitting does not sit flat in the bottom of the boat. I removed this fitting and reapplied alot of RTV in an attempt to get it sealed. Havent had an opportunity to see if my attempts were a go at making the boat watertight.I do like the boat and the way it handle and fishes and I will get the bugs worked out.
