new caracal

Anyone running a Caracal with the 33 gallon tank under the seats and a 10 gallon rear tank, Evinrude 225hp HO G2. How is you speed and performance?

last time I looked Dupo marine had a Caracal on the show room Floor. you can get to their website thru the dealership listings linkTreat everyday like it might be the last

BCB never releases 2016 models until the USCG required date, which is August 1st. USCG regulations mandate August 1st for model year change and have since 1973. Martys RockwallShermsMax Kings Bull ShoalsAqua TechLybacks DupoAll of these should have a Caracal in stock now, a few are demo units.

BCB, based on your end of June estimations for one ordered today that would be about a 5 week build time. Out of curiosity, what was the estimated build time for one ordered/submitted March 30? I understand stand you cant give specifics on individual boats, availability of vendor items and that build times will vary depending on volume of orders.

I may have to order it looks like if I want a caracal… Maybe Sherm will email me a great deal on his and I can drive to the corn field and meet him!! ha ha

I have the 33 and a 26 in the back with the G2. Unfortunately, I haven’t had a calm enough day to run any speed tests. It does get right out of the hole even when both tanks are full and two passengers with tons of gear.

I also have the 33 and 26 gallon tanks with dual consoles and 8ft power poles. runs 70-75 mph, fastest so far in great conditions was 74.9. great hole shot. (225 HO G2)

Thanks for the info guys. My Caracal is on order. We are moving up from a P2, which has been a great boat. I cant wait to get the feel of the new Caracal. If you all ever get to Florida please look us up.

Raker Variable,26 Pitch. Bobs Jack Plate. At high speeds running very little trim on motor and jack plat at 2.5 – 3 works with my set up.
