New cat

I bought a new cat Monday. Its a Tiger Cat by Scagg. Hopefully it will let me have more time in my favorite Cat!

JCopper,I have been fishing a P2 on Dale for the last 4 years, just upgraded to an Eyra (as I also fish KY Lake a lot). P2 is perfect for Dale, you will love it. Congrats!There is a good group of guys that run SmallJaw (www.smalljaw.com). I have gotten to know several of them and this may be a good place for you to start.Where is your place going to be? You will find me generally around mid-lake from December to March. I try to get as much time down there as I can during the winter.You can make a few of your own jigs, grab some 6lb floro and go catch a TOAD! I would not bother with that Float N Fly, it does not really work. Look for my blue and white Eyra and I would be happy to let you know if we have anything figured out. Enjoy! Alan

Thanks for the info. Im located about a mile from Eage Cove Marina. Ill be there a lot although I still run a business in Illinois. Should be there most of March and April. I appreciate the link- looks like a good group. Ill look for you.

Ive had black seats in my last two and the new material which is used is up to 20 degrees cooler than in years past. Even then, the black seats were not that bad. Ive never even thought about the seats being hot.

The new material is a slight blue due to the nanotechnology coating in the black to add reflectivity and cooler vinyl. The Cool Touch will be available in Black, Coal and Porcelain. They are considering going back to black without Cool Touch because of the color, which means Coal would then be the darkest nano coated vinyl.

I am currently swapping lighter colored seats,white/light gray with red and black panels over to all black.my previous boat had all black,and it was a skeeter that had the almost exact color scheme as my p4.all black never bother me before,so I doubt it will now.BCB warned me about the cool touch vinyl having a blue hue,so I went with the old vinyl.these new seats I received are sharp,all black,with Zeus black inserts,and red BCB logo.get what you like,its going to be for you.having had skin cancer on my face,and more moles removed than I care to mention,my days of fishing in just shorts are over,so I dont see black seats being an issue.i know looks wise-these new seats are the sharpest BCB seats Ive ever seen.
