Yes, they will rotate to the new Xplorer models and Mega Live 2, once those products begin shipping. Both Helix and Solix will be going away, while Apex is still a current product.
Right now we don’t actually know shipment dates on our units. Timing of release was a freeze move post Christmas against the competition. If you were upgrading to Lowrance and Active Target 2, you just postponed a lot of those decisions. If you’re tracking a lean towards Garmin, we would not shift that decision. We have inside info on the product and it’s pretty solid, but, not better than some brands. The processor speeds should be very strong. Always include pixel count (resolution) on screen appearance in a chart decision.
Solix will run the *new Mega Live 2, while Helix will not. You also,will still need a 5 port hub for networking units in many cases. The AAPEX are the only units which won’t require a hub, in most cases.
