New member of the BASS CAT club !!!!

I just got a 2002 Jag. with a Merc.XB 250 and it is badddddd ! I love it !!!! My question is this. What pitch prop does anybody recommend & on top of the drivers side console there is black screw that says oil only & vent. What is it for, how do I check the level & what kind of oil do I use. Thanks for the help, EARP

Not sure on prop, that XB is a beast of a motor. It is an EFI engine. The black cap is probably for the hydraulic steering fluid. Congrats on the ride.96 Eyra/12 Mercury 175 Pro XS with 2015 single axle trailer2017 Victory Gunner

Prop would be a 26 Trophy or a 27 at best. The cap is the fill for the hydraulic steering. BCB
