Topic: New ownership of used Bass Cat

I am on my second Cat. Both I bought from my Uncle when he moved on to a new one. Unfortunately, he moved on to heaven from his last boat, which I purchased. Its a 2001 Jaguar, 225 Optimax. My question is, am I able to register with Bass Cat so I am eligible for the tournament and anything else that comes with ownership? if so, what do I need to do?Thank you for building an incredible boat! Wouldnt own another brand.

Sorry to hear a fellow BCB owner has passed on. Yes you can register with BCB. Go to the website and look for Quest form. Complete and mail in with a check to pay the fee ($150 or $200 I think) and you are eligible for prize money for any event the qualifies as a Quest event. There are some clothing requirements. If you are talking about the Owners Invitational tournament, not sure you need to belong to Quest for that. If you own a Cat, you can participate.

I dont fish tournaments, would like to be able to fish owners tournament though. Plus any warranties that are available. Thank you for your thoughts of my uncle, he loved Bass Cat, and was a great fisherman. He always said “there isnt another brand of boat” 🙂
