So coming off Erie the other day, my fuel gauge was reading about 1/8 of a tank or maybe even a little less, which I figured was probably right considering I was
out on the lake two full days with a little over a half tank to start. I filled the tank until the pump turned off the first time (because I have been burned by giving it
one extra pump and getting gas into the vent line due to overfilling I assume). The odd thing to me was that it only took about 11 gallons. After that, it is reading
about 7/8 full.
Question I guess is, has anyone else with a new pantera classic had any issues or observations similar to this? I find it hard to believe that there was only 11
gallons used over those two trips but who knows with these newer motors ( 150 4 stroke). But if that is the case, One would think there should have been around
15 gallons or so left in the tank when it was saying 1/8th…
