My advice is that if you have never owned a glass boat then realize itll take a few gallons of OIL to learn how to drive it 70+. At least it did me!That boat will run on a dern rail too. Youll see. I had a 2004 p4!C.O.D. Jr. III

You will love your P4. I picked my 2007 up in late May and have been waiting for the multitude of pleasure boaters to slow down so I can start fine tuning the jackplate/prop adjustment if needed. I will tell you this, it handle rough water very well and you can get around in shallow water like you were in a smaller boat. This boat combines the best of both conditions. PLENTY of storage for rods and tackle. Very good gas/oil consumption for the size of the boat. Enjoy your new ride!

Thanks guys, I just got out of a 1993 Javelin 379 DC with a 150 Johnson on it. I used to get beat up following my friend who has a 2009 Triton TR-21 on a windy lake. I am seriously looking forward to a huge fishing deck and a very solid boat. It was between this and a Ranger of the same size and year, and price won the contract. I finally have a respectable boat! My team partner and I alternated my PIV and his 20X3 this year, I liked fishing out of the Pantera a lot better. I dont think youll be following your friends boat anymore.
