Recently picked up my new 2023 Puma STS. The boat is amazing and the ride is like nothing I have experienced, but I have a couple small issues that I could use some help resolving.
The first is the rod locker latches. It appears that the rear most latching mechanism will come un latched after a long tow or running in some chop. The locker doesn’t completely open since the front latching mechanism stays put. I am able to get both latches to close and lock properly, but then I notice after a run its unlatched. Any ideas on a fix?
Second is the net storage compartment supposed to have drainage? It seems the only way to get water out of there is to wet vac it out. There has been a few times I have about an inch or two of standing water despite the bilge appearing to be dry.
Third is the speed on my smart-craft gauge just stays as zero. My first time out it was working, now it appears its not.
Fourth, one of my rear compartment lights doesn’t work and the other recently started rapidly turning on/off when the lid is open.
Last, is the A10 touch panel supposed to reset everything every-time I crank the motor? Ive noticed my livescope turns off for a split second and my touch panel resets everything including the fuel tank side, lights, and livewell settings. This happens every time i crank the motor whether its first thing in the morning or at the end of the day. Im wondering if I am having a voltage issue or if this is normal.
Any help on any of these issues would be appreciated.
