New style fender?

Its definitely different…but I sure do like the older style a lot better.

Its the new fender for the 18″ Bass Cat wheels. Needed to accomodate larger diameter.

Well, if I can ever afford another new Cat, I will be certain to not get the 18″ wheels.

They do look pretty good and reviews were mixed when we first did the fender. The step is very easy to accesss in comparison to the standard style and the hull is more exposed. Overall they are a preferred fender for most, with some reservations when the fender first was offered.End result is that most here really like the fender, especially when stepping out of the boat.

I can see how the new style would make it a bit easier to step into the boat. I normally use the front step on the fender to get in the boat though. I am surely not a design expert by any means! I guess maybe its one of those things I would have to see in person.

I definately like that more of the hull is exposed, especially for cleaning. As far as appearance, I believe another color needs to be shown. I like the previous model for looks, and I liked having a step on top the fender. Im not that tall..I like stepping on top the fender to get in the boat.
