New to Cat House

Old boat : 203 Champion - 200 OMC - Man jack plate - 25 Raker New boat: 2007 Puma - 250 ProXS - Bobs Hydraulic jackplate - 26 Trophy - Hot Foot ( 9 hours on rig ) Hi Guys, My name is Greg and Im an addict ( Bass Fishing only ) I took my new Cat out for the first time today and I have some observations that I could use your input. First: Turn fuel valve "on"-at least I put the plug in. Second: After I got started the boat came out of the hole fine, as it was about to reach the top of the hill, I lost bite, the engine reved and it just fell on its face. I think this has to do with the PVS plugs. ( 3-L and 1 open- thats the way it came.) Im not sure which way to go - Do I start blocking holes or do I put other size plugs in ? Third: When I did get up on plane and got a feel for the hot foot ( Im not sure I like it yet ) I got up to speed, the steering was VERY hard, at times, it felt like the wheel was getting ripped out of my hands. Any help on that one? Fourth: This boat is FAST!!! Fifth and sixth: the trim gauge dosent work. Is there a fuse? and does anyone know where I can get a shorter power pole for the front seat? I know I need more "seat time" but with your help I think I can shorten the learning time. Thanks, Greg
